Oppo’s latest flagship smartphones are here, and they look quite promising. Both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro feature Hasselblad-branded cameras, and powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, they offer flagship-level performance too.
For the Malaysian market, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are priced at RM3,699 and RM4,999 respectively. Both of them feature 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage as well, and those who pre-order either phones by 29 November – that’s a day before the official 30 November launch of the two devices – can also get freebies worth up to RM3,214.
Naturally, the main highlight of the Find X8 series is the Hasselblad-branded camera system. For the Find X8 Pro, it has a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP 6x periscope telephoto camera. As for the standard Find X8, it features a a similar camera setup minus the 50MP periscope telephoto sensor.
Other specifications of the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro include the aforementioned MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate – the regular Find X8 has a smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED panel instead – a 32MP selfie camera, IP68/IP69 rating, and a 5,630mAh or 5,910mAh battery (with 80W charging) for the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro respectively.
The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 29 November ahead of their official local debut on 30 November. Priced at RM3,699 and RM4,999 respectively, early birds can get a RM100 or RM300 (for the Find X8 Pro) rebate on either phones, along with other goodies like a Lefant robot vacuum cleaner and a magnetic powerbank gift box.
