The Vivo X200 series of flagship phones have landed in Malaysia, and the headline feature of the X200 and the X200 Pro are their Zeiss cameras. In fact, the latter is even equipped with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens that can “capture distant subjects with incredible detail and clarity.”
First, prices. Naturally, the more affordable phone of the two is the standard X200, which is priced at RM3,599 for the sole 16GB + 512GB model. As for the better-equipped X200 Pro, it goes for RM4,699 with the same 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration.
For that kind of money, both the X200 and X200 Pro feature a triple camera system, but as mentioned, only the Pro model comes with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera paired with a 50MP primary shooter and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The standard model, on the other hand, has 50MP sensors for the main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto cameras.
Other specifications of the X200 and X200 Pro include a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset paired with 16GB RAM, 512GB of storage, a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1260 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP selfie camera, IP68/IP69 rating, and a 5,800mAh or 6,000mAh battery (with 90W charging) for the X200 and X200 Pro respectively.
Pre-orders of the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are now open in Malaysia for RM3,599 and RM4,699 respectively. Those who place an order for either phones by 22 November can also get freebies worth up to RM1,787, including a one-year extended warranty, a one-year screen protection warranty, as well as a laptop backpack. Every pre-order of the X200 Pro will also come with a Vivo 50W wireless charger, while pre-orders of the regular X200 will be bundled with the Vivo TWS 3e wireless earbuds.
