Aside from the ExpertBook P5, Asus also introduced the more affordable Asus ExpertBook P1 in Malaysia. Offered in two sizes – 14-inch and 15.6-inch – the business laptop is said to be lightweight and durable with a starting weight of 1.45kg and MIL-STD-810H durability rating.

First, prices. Naturally, the 14-inch ExpertBook P1 is the more affordable version: the Intel Core i5-13500H model with 8GB RAM is priced at RM3,799. If you want more processing power and RAM, there’s the Core i7-13700H configuration with 16GB RAM for RM4,759.

As for the 15.6-inch ExpertBook P1, it retails at RM3,849 for the sole Core i5-13500H model with 8GB RAM.

Beyond the screen size, processor, and RAM configuration, all variants of the ExpertBook P1 share similar hardware. These include a 1080p “value-IPS” display – as Asus calls it – integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and a chassis that tips the scale at 1.45kg or 1.65kg for the 14-inch an 15.6-inch models respectively.
