Aside from the Honor X9c, the Chinese company also introduced the more affordable Honor X7c in Malaysia today. Just like its higher-end sibling, the X7c’s durability is highlighted quite a bit, with “5-star” drop resistance and an IP64 rating, allowing it to withstand water sprays.
Here in Malaysia, the Honor X7c is offered in the sole 8GB + 256GB model for RM699. Thanks to its IP64 rating, Honor says that the phone can be washed under running water for up to three minutes. If you want to quickly rinse off the phone, you’ll definitely appreciate this feature.
Hardware wise, the Honor X7c comes with a 6.77-inch 1610 x 720 LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, a dual camera system (108MP primary + 2MP depth), and a 8MP selfie camera. It is also equipped with a generous 6,000mAh battery complete with 35W charging.
The Honor X7c is will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 15 November onwards for RM699. Those who get the phone by 15 December can also enjoy a complimentary 365-day front and back crack replacement, which is said to be worth RM299.
