Zenless Zone Zero will be getting its Version 1.3 update next week on 6 November. As usual, new characters will be playable once the update drops, which include Tsukishiro Yanagi and Lighter; two Agents that have already appeared in the game.

Of course, both Yanagi and Lighter are S-Rank units. Yanagi is an Electric Anomaly character, while Lighter is a Fire Stun Agent. Yanagi’s banner will be available first once the Version 1.3 update is live, and Lighter’s Signal Search will be offered in the second phase at a later date. Players can also play Special Episodes of the two Agents in the new update, where Lighter can be controlled in a side-scrolling mode.

On top of that, two new A-Rank Bangboos will also be introduced in Zenless Zone Zero 1.3: Baddieboo and Knightboo. It’s worth noting that Knightboo can only be obtained through the new Mystery of Arpeggio Fault gameplay mode, which uses a rougelike mechanism.

Another new gameplay mode in Version 1.3 of Zenless Zone Zero is Simulated Battle Trial, where players can practice their combat skills in a “battle tower” format. Once players reached certain levels, they can obtain various rewards, including Polychromes and Badges that can be displayed on the player’s Personal Homepage.
