Perodua just revealed the latest colour for the Perodua Aruz. The new black paint job is dubbed Elegant Black, and not surprisingly, the colour replaces the Passion Red option. But unlike the latter, which was offered only for the higher-end AV model, Elegant Black is available on all variants of the Aruz.

When the Aruz was updated in 2021, the seven-seater SUV gained integrated side steps and automatic door-locking. These features are standard for both the X and AV variants of the Aruz, and they continue to be priced at RM72,900 and RM77,900 respectively.

Naturally, other specifications of the Aruz remain the same. Under the hood of the SUV is a 1.5L NA four-cylinder engine that outputs 102PS and 133Nm of torque. Paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, the car has a rated fuel efficiency of up to 15.6km/L.

Other standard equipment of the Aruz include six airbags with Vehicle Stability Contol (VSC), LED headlamps, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels. The higher-end AV model, on the other hand, gets Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) 2.0 suite of driver assistance systems, leather seats, auto headlamps, and even an integrated dash cam.

To recap, the Perodua Aruz is priced at RM72,900 and RM77,900 for the X and AV models respectively, even with the new Elegant Black colour. Bookings can be made at all authorised Perodua showrooms nationwide.
