Many Honkai: Star Rail fans have been waiting for Sunday to be playable in the game since he appeared in the main Penacony story, and it looks like that is happening very soon. Hoyoverse just dropped a teaser for Sunday, and it’s very likely he will be playable in Star Rail 2.7.

Naturally, Sunday is a 5-star character, and he is an Imaginary Harmony unit. It’s worth noting that aside from the Harmony Trailblazer, Sunday is the first limited 5-star Harmony unit with the Imaginary typing. Him being a Harmony character should mean that he is a support-oriented unit too, but it’s possible he may have some offensive abilities.

It’s worth noting that Star Rail, much like Zenless Zone Zero, releases teasers for new characters one day at a time. Chances are, another new unit will be previewed tomorrow, although Sunday might be the only new character in Star Rail 2.7. After all, only Rappa was teased as an upcoming character for the Version 2.6 update.

Speaking of which, the Version 2.6 special program of Honkai: Star Rail is taking place this Friday on 11 October. Rappa will be making an appearance during the livestream alongside Dr. Ratio and Herta, and the program will also detail new storyline, events, and rewards that are coming to Version 2.6.
