Genshin Impact’s Version 5.1 update is set to arrive next week on 9 October. Xilonen will be added as a new playable character in the update, and Natlan’s main storyline will be continued as well, which looks to involve Masters of the Night-Wind members Citlali and Ororon.
Of course, Xilonen’s banner will be offered first once Genshin Impact 5.1 is live, and she will be accompanied by Chiori’s rerun. Curiously, both of them are (coincidentally) 5-star Geo characters that wield a sword. As the second phase of Event Wishes, we will see the return of Nahida’s and Hu Tao’s banners.
The big in-game event for Version 5.1 of Genshin Impact is the Sabzeruz Festival, where players will return to Sumeru to celebrate the birthday of Lesser Lord Kusanali herself, Nahida. Dehya, Tighnari, and Collei will be involved in the event too, and players can recruit Candace by participating in the event.
Several quality-of-life improvements will be added in the Version 5.1 update of Genshin Impact as well. In the Spiral Abyss, for example, players can skip Floor 9 if they achieved full stars on Floor 11 in the previous update. Those who got full stars on Floor 12, on the other hand, can skip both Floor 9 and 10 and immediately get the clear rewards, similar to how it is with Honkai: Star Rail‘s Memory of Chaos.
Genshin Impact 5.1 will go live on 9 October next week. Xilonen will be featured in the first phase of Event Wishes alongside Chiori’s rerun, while Nahida’s and Hu Tao’s banners will return in the second half.
