Huawei just introduced three new smartwatches in Malaysia today. These include the base Huawei Watch GT 5, the mid-tier Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro, as well as the high-end Huawei Watch Ultimate (Green Edition), featuring a new colourway that looks rather classy.

Let’s start with the most premium offering, the Watch Ultimate in green. Priced at RM3,799, the golf-centric features of the high-end smartwatch are highlighted quite a bit. Not only can it display maps of over 180 global golf courses (including Malaysia), it can also provide distance measurements, real-time wind speeds, and green slope compensation.

Other specifications of the Watch Ultimate include a 1.5-inch 466 x 466 LTPO AMOLED display protected by sapphire glass, zirconium-based liquid metal front case, a titanium strap – a dual-color woven strap and a green HNBR strap are also included – 10 ATM water resistance, and up to 14 days of battery life.

Next, we have the Watch GT 5 smartwatches. The Watch GT 5 is priced at RM1,099 and RM1,199 for the 41mm and 46mm models respectively, while the GT 5 Pro goes for RM1,399 and RM1,999 for the 46mm and 43mm variants respectively. Yes, the smaller model actually costs more due to the material choice, it seems.

Speaking of which, the 43mm GT 5 Pro features a nanocrystalline ceramic case, while the 46mm model has a titanium alloy case. All smartwatches under the Watch GT 5 series come with the new Huawei TruSense System, which provides users with various health monitoring capabilities. It can measure heart rate, SpO2, and of course, sleep tracking.

The Huawei Watch GT 5 series is now available for pre-order in Malaysia from RM1,099 until 4 October. As for the Huawei Watch Ultimate (Green Edition), it’s also available for pre-order in the same period for RM3,799; early birds can even get RM1,258 worth of freebies.
