Logitech G, which is Logitech’s gaming brand, just introduced a slew of new products in Malaysia. These include two gaming mice (Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and Pro 2 Lightspeed) the Pro X TKL Rapid gaming keyboard – this is actually the brand’s first-ever keyboard with magnetic hall effect switches – and the G915 X low-profile keyboards.
Logitech G Pro X TKL Rapid
Remember the Logitech G Pro X TKL keyboard we reviewed a while ago? Well, this is the updated Rapid version which features the aforementioned magnetic switches. However, the new Rapid model is a wired-only keyboard, though the magnetic switch does enable adjustable actuation points and (you’ve guessed it) rapid trigger settings.
For the Malaysian market, the Pro X TKL Rapid is priced at RM899, though it will only be available globally sometime in December 2024.
Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex
Next, we have the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex, featuring an asymmetrical right-handed design. Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology has been upgraded with the mouse to support 8KHz polling, and the Hero 2 sensor offers “unmatched tracking performance” too. The gaming mouse also comes with Lightforce switches that combine the speed of optical switches and the clicking feel of a traditional microswitch.
As for pricing, the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex goes for RM689 in Malaysia, and it is now available for purchase locally.
Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed
If you want something more affordable, there’s the Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed. Priced at RM549, this mouse has an ambidextrous design instead for both left- and right-handed gamers. It also has magnetic side buttons that are customisable.
Logitech G915 X Series
Last but not least is the Logitech G915 X series. In Malaysia, the low-profile keyboard is offered in three versions: full-size (RM1,099), TKL (RM999), and wired full-size (RM899). Measuring 23mm thin, the G915 keyboards are certainly low-profile.
Aside from that, all G915 gaming keyboards come with what Logitech refers to as “galvanic switch” with a POM, cross-style stem. According to the company, this improves the overall stability of the keys, which are also installed with doubleshot shine-through PBT keycaps. Oh, the low-profile keyboards have three connectivity options too: Bluetooth, wired, and of course, the company’s own 2.4GHz Lightspeed wireless technology.
