Zenless Zone Zero is getting a slew of new content in its Version 1.2 update. Set to be released next week on 25 September, a new area dubbed Outer Ring will be added to the game, which will be the main stage for the next chapter in the main storyline.

Two new characters from the Outer Ring will be playable in Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 too, which are Caesar (S-Rank Physical Defense) and Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly). Caesar’s banner will be offered first once the update drops, while Burnice will be obtainable in the second phase of Signal Search.

Aside from that, Lucy, an A-Rank Fire Support character – who is also a member of the Sons of Calydon like Caesar and Burnice – can be obtained through the Overlord’s Feast in-game event in Version 1.2 of Zenless Zone Zero. A number of other events will be released throughout the Version update too, offering various rewards like Polychromes.

Several in-game optimisations are also set for Version 1.2. Not only will there be preset lineups for combat now, certain animations in the TV board gameplay will be improved and accelerated too. Oh, a Backup Battery Charge mechanism will be introduced as well to offer players more stamina in the game.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 will go live next week on 25 September. Caesar’s Signal Search will be offered first once the update drops, followed by Burnice’s banner at a later date in the second phase.
