Xiaomi Malaysia is introducing yet another affordable smartphone on our shores, the Redmi 14C. Sporting a 6.88-inch display – this is said to be the largest screen on a Redmi phone to date – it is also powered by the recently launched MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset.

For the Malaysian market, the Redmi 14C is offered in two variants. The base 6GB + 128GB model is priced at RM449, while the 8GB + 256GB variant goes for RM599. The budget-friendly phone is also offered in four distinct colours: Midnight Black, Dreamy Purple, Sage Green, and Starry Blue, which looks particularly eye-catching.

Given its affordability, the Redmi 14C has a modest spec sheet. These include the aforementioned 6.88-inch 1640 x 720 display with 120Hz refresh rate, a single 50MP rear camera – despite the fact that the camera module has four “lenses” – a 13MP selfie shooter, and a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging.

The Redmi 14C will be available in Malaysia from 13 September next week for RM449 and RM599 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models respectively. It can be purchased through Xiaomi Malaysia’s own online store, Shopee, as well as Lazada then.
