Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 is dropping next week on 10 September, and we’re getting a number of exciting new content. Naturally, new characters will be playable in the patch, and curiously enough, as many as six different 5-star character banners will be offered in throughout the Version 2.5 update. Oh, there will also be a pet system of sorts.

Let’s talk about the six character banners in Star Rail 2.5. The first half of the Warp Event will feature Feixiao, a new 5-star Wind Hunt character, and three rerun units: Kafka, Black Swan, and Robin. As for the second half, new 5-star character Lingsha (Fire Abundance) will be available alongside a rerun of Topaz. that’s quite a number of characters that can be obtained in the version update.

Oh, it’s worth noting that there is also a new 4-star character, Moze. He is a Lightning Hunt unit that will be available in the first half of Star Rail 2.5’s Warp Event.

Beyond that, players can also get a pet in the Version 2.5 of Star Rail. The “Tuskpir” can be obtained as a companion by participating in the activities related to the Luminary Wardance, and the pet will follow players around in the overworld. While Tuskpir doesn’t provide any combat advantage, it does add a touch of charm to the gameplay experience.

Aside from the aforementioned Luminary Wardance in-game event, Star Rail 2.5 will get a new “Echo of War” weekly boss too. As Hoyoverse puts it, “players will face a shadow of Feixiao and the apparition of Flying Aureus – Ecliptic Inner Beast.”

The Version 2.5 update of Honkai: Star Rail will be available next week on 10 September. To recap, Feixiao’s Event Warp will be available first alongside Kafka’s, Black Swan’s, and Robin’s reruns, while Lingsha’s and Topaz’s banners will be offered in the second phase.
