MSI is set to launch two new laptops powered by the new AMD Strix Point processor in Malaysia very soon. Both the MSI Prestige A16+ AI+ and MSI Stealth A16 AI+ have been previewed to members of the media today, and both of them feature a reasonably powerful AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor.
Of the two laptops, the Prestige A16 AI+ is an all-AMD machine. It features the aforementioned Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, a Radeon 880M integrated GPU, a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen4x4 SSD.
As for the Stealth A16 AI+, it has the same Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, but it’s paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 discrete GPU instead. Aside from that, it features a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS panel with 240Hz refresh rate, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen4x4 SSD.
Given that the MSI Stealth A16 AI+ and MSI Prestige A16 AI+ have only been previewed in Malaysia today, we don’t know the local pricing of the two laptops just yet. We were told they will be launched on our shores very soon, so it won’t be long now until we get the Malaysian pricing of the two AMD Strix Point laptops.
