We are mere days away from Genshin Impact‘s highly anticipated Version 5.0 update, so as usual, Hoyoverse is teasing a new playable character. This time around, it is Xilonen, a character hailing from the new Natlan nation. Chances are, she will be playable once Genshin Impact 5.1 is released in the near future.

Every Genshin Impact character teased by Hoyoverse is usually playable in the next version update of the game, so there’s no reason the same wouldn’t apply to Xilonen. She has been teased in several Natlan teasers before, so we should be seeing her in the main Natlan storyline.

As always, the rarity of Xilonen was not revealed, though it is very likely she is a 5-star character given that she is the only character that has been teased by Hoyoverse so far. It remains to be seen what weapon she uses, though she does carry a Geo Vision. It will be interesting to see whether she is a DPS or support-oriented character.

Expect Xilonen to be playable in Genshin Impact 5.1. For now, the Version 5.0 update of the game will be released this Wednesday on 28 August. Mualani and Kachina will be featured in the first phase of Event Wishes alongside Kaedehara Kazuha’s rerun once the update is live, while Kinich’s banner will debut in the second half with the Raiden Shogun.
