Launched globally just last month, the OnePlus Nord 4 is now available in Malaysia. One of the most touted features of the mid-range phone is its metal unibody design, which is said to be the “first and only smartphone in the 5G era to feature a metal unibody,” as the Chinese company puts it.

For the Malaysian market, the Nord 4 is offered in the sole 16GB + 512GB configuration for RM2,599. It’s worth noting that those who pre-order the phone by 30 August from Oppo Malaysia’s online store (and selected retailers) will receive a RM100 discount, lowering the price to RM2,499.

As for colour options, there are three to choose from: Oasis Green, Mercurial Silver, and Obsidian Midnight.

OnePlus talked at length about the metal unibody design of the Nord 4, and to be honest, we do think it looks quite sleek. It is also said to be a functional design, featuring U-shape antennas to enhance signal performance of the phone, avoiding the “death grip” issue of old. OnePlus further added that the aluminium alloy body of the phone allows for superior heat dissipation.

Other specifications of the Nord 4 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, a 6.74-inch 2772 x 1240 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a dual camera system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W charging.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 30 August for RM2,599. Aside from the RM100 discount from selected retailers, those who pre-order the phone will also get a 100W OnePlus charger worth RM199.
