Honkai: Star Rail Shares More Fate/stay night Crossover Details – Archer, Saber Confirmed?
August 21, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Hoyoverse revealed a few new trailers at Gamescom 2024 for three of its titles, including Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Genshin Impact. Arguably the most exciting announcement is the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works crossover for Star Rail; there’s a good chance Archer and Saber will be making an appearance in the game come Q3 2025.

Of the two Fate/stay night characters, Archer is confirmed by Hoyoverse itself. It’s no surprise, given that the Star Rail trailer below opens up with a storyteller talking about a man who had tan skin and wielded two swords: one black and one white. This is almost certainly referencing Archer’s dual blade.

If you listen closely to the trailer, the same storyteller also talks about Saber. As he was about to tell the name of the sword a certain woman is holding, the video cuts off before coming back to Saber’s classic “are you my master” line. Suffice to say there’s a good chance she is coming to Star Rail too.

Beyond that, Hoyoverse also teased two new Zenless Zone Zero characters in a video, who look to be Burnice White and Caesar King; both of them were previously teased by the studio. Of course, Genshin Impact also gets a new trailer showing off Natlan and the three new playable characters (Mualani, Kinich, Kachina) coming to the game next week on 28 August.

Oh, it’s also worth noting that Genshin Impact will be available on Xbox consoles come 20 November; the game can now be added to the platform’s Wishlist. It’s quite a curious revelation, considering that the game is arriving on Xbox before the Nintendo Switch, which was supposed to support Genshin Impact as per Hoyoverse’s announcement in the past.
