Just as we have reported a few weeks ago, the Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025 series is indeed coming to Malaysia. The new Google TVs have just been launched locally today, and retailing from RM1,499, they are certainly geared towards budget-conscious consumers.
Let’s start with the Malaysian pricing of the Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025. Naturally, the 43-inch variant is the most affordable model with a RM1,499 price tag. There’s even an early bird pricing for the TV, bringing down its price to RM1,249. As for the 55-inch version, it retails at RM2,399 with an early bird pricing of RM1,999.
Curiously, the 65-inch model was not launched today despite being registered with SIRIM already.
Compared to its predecessor, the 2025 models of the TV A Pro series sport a sleeker, more modern-looking design with a new stand. On top of that, it also covers 94% of the DCI-P3 colour space – last year’s TV A Pro has 90% coverage instead – with quantum dot technology. Of course, Google TV is still the operating system of choice.
Beyond the Pro model, also launched today is the Xiaomi TV A 2025 in the sole 55-inch model for RM1,999; the early bird pricing is RM1,699. What differentiates this TV from the Pro models is a different design and the absence of quantum dot technology to lower the price tag. Yes, it still runs on Google TV.
The Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025 and Xiaomi TV A 2025 are now available for purchase in Malaysia from RM1,249 and RM1,699 respectively for a limited time. If you want to see these new TVs in person, you can do so at the ongoing Xiaomi Smart Living Showcase in Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya until 18 August this Sunday. Prizes worth up to RM4,599 are also up for grabs at the roadshow.
