Huawei just released a foldable phone under its more affordable Nova series. The Huawei Nova Flip is touted as a fashion-centric flip phone, and given that it’s parked under the Nova brand, it’s more affordable than, say, the Huawei Pocket 2.

Starting at 5,288 Chinese yuan (about RM3,305) for the 256GB variant, the Nova Flip features a rather compact 2.14-inch 480 x 480 OLED square cover screen. As for the internal foldable display, it is a 6.94-inch 2690 x 1136 OLED panel with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.

Other specifications of the Nova Flip include a dual camera system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide), a 32MP selfie shooter, as well as a 4,400mAh battery with 66W charging. Unfortunately, Huawei did not reveal the phone’s processor or RAM capacity, curiously enough.

The Huawei Nova Flip is currently only available in China, and it remains to be seen if it will ever be sold outside of the Chinese company’s home country. To recap, the phone retails at 5,288 yuan (around RM3,305) for the 256GB variant, going up to 5,688 yuan (approximately RM3,555) and 6,488 yuan (about RM4,055) for the 512GB and 1TB models respectively.
