Initially unveiled at Computex 2024, the Acer Swift 14 AI looks to be coming to Malaysia very soon. Touted as the Taiwanese company’s first Copilot+ PC, it comes with a slew of AI-centric features in Windows 11, including Recall, Cocreator, and Live Captions.

As usual, we were going through SIRIM’s database when we came across the Swift 14 AI registered under Acer Malaysia just today on 26 July. Every electronic that are officially sold in Malaysia has to be certified by SIRIM, so chances are, the AI-powered laptop will be available locally very soon.

Aside from its AI features, the Swift 14 AI is powered by the Arm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors; namely the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus. Other specifications of the laptop include a 14.5-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, a 75Wh battery that promises up to 26 hours of video playback, as well as a 1.36kg chassis.

At the moment, we haven’t heard yet from Acer Malaysia on the local availability of the Swift 14 AI. But considering the fact that the Arm-based (and AI-powered) laptop is certified by SIRIM already, we reckon it’s only a matter of time before it arrives on our shores.
