Honda Malaysia just revealed its sales performance for the first half of 2024. With over 39,000 units sold, the Japanese carmaker’s sales on our shores increased by 16% compared to the same period last year; that’s quite a notable increase.

The biggest contributor to that figure is none other than the Honda HR-V, which makes up 28% of Honda Malaysia’s 1H 2024 sales. Next up is the City, accounting for 24% of total sales, followed by the CR-V with 15% contribution. Interestingly, Honda Malaysia notes that its e:HEV hybrid models see substantial growth too, making up 13% of total sales in the first half of 2024.

Besides that, Honda Malaysia also delivered the 170,000th and 150,000th units of the Civic and HR-V respectively; both of them are of the e:HEV RS variants. To celebrate the occasion, Honda Malaysia presented the new owners with an exclusive gift and Honda genuine accessories worth a total of RM10,000.

For the month of July 2024, Honda Malaysia is offering up to RM7,000 discount on its range of models, including the Civic, HR-V, City, and WR-V.
