Video: ROG Azoth Extreme Sound Test – Worth $499?
July 23, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Priced at $499 in the US – that comes up to about RM2,330 – the ROG Azoth Extreme is a premium (and expensive) pre-built keyboard. The high price tag aside, it does actually offer a pleasant sound signature and typing feel, and it will be interesting to see how much it will retail at in Malaysia once it’s available here sometime in the middle of August next month.

Essentially a more premium version of the original Azoth, the Azoth Extreme now offers a full aluminum chassis. On top of that, it even has adjustable gaskets that can change the typing stiffness of the keyboard with just a toggle of a switch. To top it off, it even has a full colour OLED touch-enabled display on the top right corner instead of a monochrome one.

Completing the feature set of the Azoth Extreme are a carbon fibre plate, a hotswap PCB, smooth linear ROG NX Snow or clicky ROG NX Storm switch, and even a sweet (and hefty) silicone wrist rest. Of course, the wireless capability of the gaming keyboard is also retained via the Taiwanese company’s 2.4GHz SpeedNova technology or Bluetooth.
