Haier Malaysia just revealed that it achieved 43% growth in its total business for the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. On top of that, the Chinese company is also launching a slew of new products in Malaysia today. These include the large, high-end HRF 758 series fridge, the more affordable HRF 585 and 480 lineup, several upright freezers, and even two wine cellars.

Haier HRF 758

Let’s start with the HRF 758 fridge; more specifically, the HRF-IM758FG(SG)U1. Not only does it have sleek glass doors finished in slate grey, it is also Haier’s largest fridge yet with a capacity of 758L as its name suggests. It has other neat features too, including Humidity Control System (HCS) to maintain freshness of perishables, ABT PRO module to prevent bacterial growth, and smartphone connectivity via the HaiSmart app.

As for pricing, it retails at a cool RM7,899 in Malaysia, and it will be available locally from August onwards.

Haier HRF 585 & HRF 480

Next, we have the HRF 585 and 480 series, which start at RM3,899 and RM3,399 respectively; the price changes depending on the finishing of the door. For that kind of money, the HRF 585 offers 529L of space, while the HRF 480 has a capacity of 480L. Both fridges have Twin inverter technology as well for energy efficiency and quiet operation along with a 20-year warranty – much like the higher-end HRF 758.

Haier HUR-181NE, HUR-261NE, HUR-331NE Upright Freezers

If you want an upright freezer instead, there are the HUR-181NE (RM2,199), HUR-261NE (RM3,099), and HUR-331NE (RM3,699). What differentiates these three freezers are their capacities, which are reflected in their names. All models of the multi-level freezers are also capable of -24°C freezing and up to 8°C normal refrigeration.

Haier HWS-84G & HWS-49G Wine Cellars

Last but not least are the HWS-84G and HWS-49G wine cellars, which are validated by VDE to be able to maintain constant temperature and the right humidity for…well, wine storage. They have a triple-layered glass door as well to block out UV rays, along with 5°C – 20°C temperature control and a humidity range of 50% – 70%.

As for pricing, the HWS-84G – which can accommodate up to 84 bottles – is priced at RM5,499, while the HWS-49G with a 49-bottle capacity goes for RM3,999.
