There’s now a more affordable phone in the Oppo Reno 12 series. Compared to its higher-end siblings, the Oppo Reno 12 F does sport more modest hardware, though it still comes with the same Oppo AI features.

Two variants of the Reno 12 F are offered in Malaysia. The 256GB base model is priced at RM1,399, while the 512GB configuration goes for RM1,799. Both versions of the phone feature 12GB RAM, and early birds who purchase the phone by 10 August will get a RM129 gift box.

Given that the Reno 12 F comes with Oppo AI, it has several AI-centric capabilities. These include AI Eraser 2.0 to remove unwanted subjects in a picture; AI Clear Face, which increases the clarity and reduces distortion of up to 10 faces in a single shot; as well as AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 that allows quick cut out of people and pets from photos.

Hardware wise, the Reno 12 F features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging.

To recap, the Oppo Reno 12 F is now available in Malaysia from RM1,399. Offered in two colours, Amber Orange (the model you see here) and Olive Green, purchases made by 10 August will come with a RM129 gift box.
