The “Silver Playground” roadshow offers a number of activities, RM12,000 worth of lucky draw prices, and freebies valued at up to RM2,475.

One of the highlights of the Reno 12 series roadshow is the limited edition BSS gift box, which is given to customers who purchase either phones. Of course, the gift box is offered on a first come, first served basis, so you may want to be quick if you’re a BSS fan.

The headline feature of the Oppo Reno 12 series is Oppo AI, which comes with a number of generative AI capabilities. These include AI Eraser 2.0 to remove unwanted subjects in a picture; AI Clear Face, which increases the clarity and reduces distortion of up to 10 faces in a single shot; as well as AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 that allows quick cut out of people and pets from photos.

Hardware wise, the Reno 12 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, a 6.7-inch 2412 x 1080 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera configuration (50MP main + 50MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging.

As for the Reno 12, it also comes with a Dimensity 7300-Energy chip with the same battery capacity and charging rate, though it has a dual curved AMOLED display instead with a more modest camera setup. Its triple camera system is made up of a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is a 32MP unit.
