CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, will be launching its first smartphone next month. Not only will the CMF Phone 1 make its debut on 8 July, two other products will also be launched alongside the phone on that day: the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2.
The teaser image for the 8 July event shows off the rotating dial on the back panel of the CMF Phone 1. Chances are, the dial will be used for volume controls, and it’ll be interesting to see if it can be customised to control other features as well.
If rumours are to be believed, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a modest set of hardware, including a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, a 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. These hardware do match the “entry point” positioning of the Phone 1 under the Nothing sub-brand.
We’ll find out for ourselves just what the CMF Phone 1 has to offer – as well as the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 – come 8 July next month. Given that it would be CMF’s first-ever smartphone, expectations are certainly high, and here’s hoping it will indeed carry a budget-friendly price tag.
