The ROG NUC is also showcased at ROG’s booth in Computex 2024, and we were told that the ultra small form factor gaming PC will also be coming to Malaysia soon. If you’re in the market for a powerful gaming machine in a very small size, the ROG NUC will be right up your alley.
There are two variants of the ROG NUC. The base model features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, while the higher-end Core Ultra 9 185H configuration features a more powerful RTX 4070 GPU. Both variants also have the exact same dimensions (270mm x 180mm x 50mm) in a compact 2.5L chassis that weighs only 800g.
Of course, you do have to pay quite a bit of premium for such a compact gaming machine. In the US, the ROG NUC starts at a cool $1,629 (about RM7,645) for the base model (512GB SSD + 16GB RAM), going up to $2,199 (approximately RM10,325) for the RTX 4070 version with a 1TB SSD and 32GB RAM.
While we know the ROG NUC will be coming to Malaysia in the near future, we still don’t know if we will be getting the RTX 4060 or more powerful RTX 4070 model. Nonetheless, we will keep a close eye on the local availability (and especially pricing) of the ROG NUC.
