Aside from the three OLED Predator gaming monitors, Acer also unveiled two smart monitors at Computex 2024. Both the Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 are available in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes, and they are also powered by Google TV.
Thanks to the addition of Google TV, the Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 has access to a slew of streaming apps. These include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and even HBO Max. Of course, screen casting is also supported via Google Cast.
Hardware wise, both the Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 are quite well-equipped. The DA1, for one, features a 3840 x 2160 VA panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The GA1, on the other hand, comes with a 2560 x 1440 IPS/VA display with a maximum refresh rate of 180Hz.
The Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 are expected to be available sometime in Q4 2024. The Acer DA1 is priced from $349 (about RM1,640), while the Nitro GA1 starts slightly lower at $329 (approximately RM1,545). No word yet on the Malaysian availability of the two smart monitors.
