Well, it’s finally happening. After its initial release on PS5 and PS4 in 2022, God of War Ragnarok is launching on PC later this year on 19 September. The PC port is handled by Jetpack Interactive, the same studio that ported the first God of War to PC.
As usual, the PC version of God of War Ragnarok comes with the usual graphics upgrades and customisation options, including unlocked frame rates, various upscaling technologies (NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS), and support for ultrawide aspect ratios (32:9 and 21:9). Of course, the Valhalla DLC is also bundled in the PC release of Ragnarok.
As for system requirements of God of War Ragnarok on PC, these details will be revealed at a later date closer to the release of the game. Curiously, a PlayStation Network account will be required to play the game, much like the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima.
The PC release of God of War Ragnarok is now available for pre-order on the Epic Games Store and Steam from RM249 ahead of the game’s release on 19 September. Every pre-purchase of the game comes with an armor for Kratos and Atreus, and there’s also the Digital Deluxe Edition for RM299, which bundles several additional items, including a mini artbook.
