It looks like Xiaomi got a new gaming monitor in Malaysia. The Xiaomi G34WQi is a curved gaming monitor sporting a rather sizeable (and wide) 34-inch panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The best part is, the product is priced quite competitively too.

For the Malaysian market, the G34WQi is priced at only RM1,499. For that kind of money, it features the aforementioned 34-inch 3440 x 1440 curved display with a 1500R curvature. On top of that, it also has a fast 180Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time.

Other specifications of the G34WQi include 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space (100% for sRGB), FreeSync Premium support to minimise screen tearing – though this feature is only available via the DP ports – as well as a maximum brightness of 350 nits.

To recap, the Xiaomi G34WQi curved gaming monitor is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Priced at RM1,499, the value proposition of the monitor is really quite good, which is what we’ve come to expect from Xiaomi’s range of products.
