Aside from opening bookings for the smart #3, smart Malaysia also announced a price revision for the smart #1. This is in line with the EV’s price cut in China, and it’s quite a substantial discount of up to a whopping RM20,000.

The model that receives the RM20,000 price cut is the smart #1 Pro, which is now priced at only RM169,000. As for the Premium trim, it gets a RM10,000 discount, lowering the price to a cool RM209,000. No price revision for the range-topping Brabus model, unfortunately, so it’s still going for RM249,000.

If you have already gotten the smart #1 Pro or Premium before the price revision, don’t worry, you’re not left out. Existing owners of these two models will get four years of free service, which is a reasonably good offer, even though the Pro does get a more substantial discount than the Premium.
