Mercedes-Benz Malaysia just revealed the final pricing of the Mercedes-Benz C350e for our local market. Locally assembled in Pekan, Pahang, the new C-Class model is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with a rather respectable 117km electric range on the (stringent) WLTP cycle.
Priced at RM338,888 in Malaysia, the final pricing of the C350e is actually quite a bit lower than the estimated RM355,000 price tag when the sedan was launched here back in February. This price is on-the-road with 10% sales tax included.
For that kind of money, the C350e offers a combination of a 2.0L turbo engine (204hp/320Nm) and an electric motor (127hp/440Nm) for a total output of 313hp and 550Nm of torque. This is good for a top speed of 245kmph with a 0-100kmph time of 6.1 seconds.
As mentioned, the C350e is a PHEV, and its 25.4kWh high-voltage battery offers up to 117km of all-electric range. The sedan supports up to 11kW AC charging as well, which takes about two hours for a full charge. Unfortunately, the C350e for the Malaysian market (unlike Thailand) does not support faster DC charging.
Nonetheless, the Mercedes-Benz C350e is now available for booking in Malaysia through Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s official website. To recap, the new C-Class model is priced at RM338,888 on-the-road inclusive of 10% sales tax.
