Asus just launched two new productivity laptops in Malaysia. Naturally, the Asus Vivobook S 14 and Asus Vivobook S 16 are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra chips, and both of them are also slim, lightweight laptops, measuring between 13.9mm to 15.9mm thin with a 1.3kg or 1.5kg chassis for the S 14 and S 16 respectively.

For the Malaysian market, the Vivobook S 14 retails from RM4,399, while the Vivobook S 16 starts at RM4,699. The two laptops will be available for purchase locally from 29 April, and those who get either laptops by 19 May will receive a free Sony SRS-XB100 Bluetooth speaker worth RM259.

Hardware wise, the Vivobook S 14 and S 16 can be configured with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H processor. They also feature Asus Lumina OLED displays, though the S 14 gets a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 panel with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the larger S 16 comes with a sharper 16-inch 3200 x 2000 screen with a faster 120Hz refresh rate. Besides that, both laptops have 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.

The Asus Vivobook S 14 and Asus Vivobook S 16 will be available for purchase in Malaysia towards the end of the month on 29 April. To recap, the Vivobook S 14 goes for RM4,399 and RM4,999 for the Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 models respectively, while the Vivobook S 16 retails at RM4,699 and RM5,299 for the Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 configurations respectively.

It’s worth noting that a higher-end variant of the Vivobook S 16 with a 1TB SSD will also be available in Malaysia later this quarter, so it should arrive here by June 2024.
