It is now much easier to go through your messages in WhatsApp. With the introduction of Chat Filters, you can now sort your messages between three filters: all conversations, unread chats, and groups.

The all conversations filter is self-explanatory, while the unread tab will show unread chats that have not been opened yet or marked as unread. This new sorting should make it much easier to find for unread messages without having to sift through your inbox.

As for the groups tab – which WhatsApp says is a highly requested feature – all group chats can be found here. Of course, even subgroups of Communities will show up in this tab, so you won’t have to go to the dedicated Communities section to find said subgroups.

Rollout for WhatsApp’s Chat Filters feature starts today, and we ourselves are already seeing the feature in WhatsApp Web. If you’re not seeing Chat Filters yet in WhatsApp, worry not, as the feature will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
