Tesla Malaysia just revealed more details on the availability of the Tesla Cybertruck here in Malaysia. The huge electric pickup truck will arrive on our shores (for viewing) sometime in May, and as expected, the Cybertruck will not be sold here.
Instead, Tesla Malaysia is bringing the Cybertruck here as part of the EV’s tour around Asia. It has made stops in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and more recently Thailand over the past weekend. For us in Malaysia, the EV will be available for viewing at Tesla’s showrooms in Pavilion Damansara Heights sometime in May 2024 next month.

It’s no surprise that the angular Cybertruck will not be sold here. After all, the EV hasn’t been converted to right-hand drive yet, not to mention the fact that Tesla is still ramping up production to meet demands for the electric pickup truck in the US alone.
Nonetheless, even though Malaysians won’t be able to purchase or drive the imposing Tesla Cybertruck in Malaysia, it’s still quite the opportunity to be able to see the electric pickup truck in person. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on exactly when the Cybertruck will be available for viewing locally in May 2024.
