Now this is a surprise. Tesla Malaysia, through its Instagram page, just dropped a teaser for its huge electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck. Does this mean the EV will be offered here in Malaysia? Well, not exactly.

Chances are, the Cybertruck is only making its way here as part of the EV’s Asian tour. After all, the electric pickup truck has already made stops in China and Japan, with Thailand also getting a preview of the EV on 6 April tomorrow.

Aside from that, an image of what appears to be a covered up Cybertruck has allegedly been spotted in Malaysia as well. The image above was posted by M Ruh Naim in the Paultan.org Automotive/Car Discussion Group on Facebook. With that in mind, Malaysians could be seeing the enormous EV in person very soon.

That being said, beyond the teaser from Tesla Malaysia, it remains to be seen exactly when the Cybertruck will be previewed on our shores. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye for any local information concerning the electric pickup truck.
