March 21, 2024 Andrew Cheng

MSI recently launched four new QD-OLED gaming monitors in Malaysia under the MPG and MAG lineups. Retailing between RM4,299 all the way up to RM6,499, these are certainly gaming monitors geared toward gamers who want the best gaming experience.

MSI MPG 491CQP QD-OLED

Out of the four monitors launched today, the MPG 491CQP is arguably the most interesting (and largest) product with a cool RM6,499 price tag. For that kind of money, the ultrawide monitor offers an expansive 49-inch 5120 x 1440 curved (1800R) QD-OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

MSI MAG 34CQP QD-OLED

Next, we have the MAG 34CQP, which is also an ultrawide gaming monitor, albeit with a much lower RM4,799 asking price. Just like the larger MPG 491CQP, this monitor also features 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, though it has a smaller 34-inch 3440 x 1440 curved (1800R) QD-OLED display with a faster 175Hz refresh rate.

MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED

If you want a higher resolution flat monitor instead, there’s the MAG 321UPX. For RM6,099, it offers a 31.5-inch 3840 x 2160 QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, the same 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time as the other monitors here, along with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED

Finally, there’s the MAG 271QPX, the most affordable product of the lot for RM4,299. Even though it has the smallest 26.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QD-OLED panel of the four monitors, it is actually the fastest one with a 360Hz refresh rate. Of course, it features 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time too with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

All four MSI QD-OLED monitors mentioned here are now available for purchase in Malaysia, including MSI Malaysia’s very own online store.
