Honor Magic 6 Pro Arrives in Malaysia for RM4,499 – AI-Eye Tracking, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
March 20, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Initially unveiled back at MWC 2024 just a few weeks ago, the Honor Magic 6 Pro has just been launched in Malaysia. Featuring the latest hardware, AI eye-tracking, and a notch at top of the screen dubbed Magic Capsule – not unlike Apple’s Dynamic Island – the flagship phone is quite an intriguing device.

For the Malaysian market, the Magic 6 Pro is offered in the sole 12GB + 512GB configuration for a cool RM4,499. It will be available for pre-order from now until 27 March with up to RM1,960 worth of freebies included. Two colour options are available: Epic Green and Black.

One of the main selling points of the Magic 6 Pro is the Magic Capsule notch, which allows users to just tap on the notification banner to expand it, giving users more details and options. Sometime in the future, the Magic 6 Pro will support AI eye-tracking as well, which allows users to just look at a notification from a specific app to open said app; certainly a curious feature.

The camera system of the Magic 6 Pro is highlighted by Honor quite a bit as well. The rear camera system is made up of a 50MP main camera with variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/2.0), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 180MP periscope telephoto lens that can do 2.5x optical zoom.

Other specifications of the Magic 6 Pro include a 6.8-inch 2800 x 1280 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a generous 5,600mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging (66W wirelessly), as well as an IP68 rating.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Priced at RM4,499, early birds who purchase the phone by 27 March will receive free gifts worth up to RM1,960, which include a Honor Watch 4, a Honor Earbuds X6, 365-day front and back crack replacement, as well as a one-year extended warranty.
