Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 is set to be one of the most exciting updates yet. Not only will three new characters be added to the game (Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher), players can also get a total of 30 free pulls once the update is live to celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary.

Let’s talk about the new characters coming to Star Rail 2.1 first. Acheron is a 5-star Lightning Nihility character, while Aventurine is a 5-star Imaginary Preservation unit. As for Gallagher, he is a 4-star Fire Abundance character.

Acheron and Gallagher will be featured in the first phase of Event Warp alongside Luocha’s rerun banner, while Aventurine can be obtained in the second phase of banners with Jingliu’s rerun.

What about the 30 free pulls in the Version 2.1 update of Star Rail? Well, that will come in the form of 20 Star Rail Special Passes and 1,600 Stellar Jades by logging into the game and participating in a series of events. Other “exclusive rewards” are also up for grabs.

Of course, Star Rail 2.1 will also continue to main storyline of Penacony, and it looks like Aventurine will play quite a big role in the upcoming narrative. As usual, there are new in-game events, including Cosmodyssey where players can “travel to various historical cosmic journeys on a mysterious game board and relieve the moments from past trailblazing experiences with their friends,” as the developer puts it.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 will arrive on 27 March next week. To recap, Acheron’s, Gallagher’s, and Luocha’s Event Warps will be offered first once the update drops, followed by Aventurine’s and Jingliu’s banners at a later date.
