GWM Malaysia has opened bookings for its upcoming EV, the ORA 07 ahead of its local debut sometime this month. Touted as an electric coupe, the Ora 07 will be the brand’s second EV to be sold here, and it’s quite a bit more powerful than the Ora Good Cat.

As added incentive to book the ORA 07, GWM Malaysia is offering a five-year free maintenance package for the EV now; parts and labour charges are included in the package. According to the carmaker, this offer is available for a limited time only, though no specific timeline was given.

Two variants of the Ora 07 are expected to be available in Malaysia: Long Range and Performance. The base Long Range model features a single electric motor driving the front wheels, producing 204PS and 340Nm of torque. As its name suggests, it also has a range of up to 640km on the (more lenient) NEDC cycle.

As for the more higher-end Performance trim of the Ora 07, it has a dual motor setup that outputs 408PS and 680Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-100kmph in only 4.3 seconds. Given that it’s a more powerful model, it also has a lower range of up to 550km (NEDC).
