Oppo’s latest wearable is now official. As the Chinese company’s flagship smartwatch, the Oppo Watch X has some intriguing features, including up to 100 hours of battery life; that’s about four days of use on a single charge.
For the Malaysian market, the Watch X carries a RM1,399 price tag. For that kind of money, it offers a “dual engine architecture,” as Oppo puts it. Basically, it runs on two chips: there’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC for more demanding tasks, and a BES2700 MCU chip for power efficiency.

It is this unique hardware configuration that allows the Watch X to deliver up to 100 hours of use in the full-featured Smart Mode or up to 12 days in Power Saver Mode. Other specifications of the smartwatch include dual-frequency GPS (L1 and L5), a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED screen protected by a sapphire crystal cover, stainless steel case, 500mAh battery, a hybrid version of Wear OS 4, as well as IP68 rating and 5ATM water resistance.
The Oppo Watch X is now available for purchase in Malaysia for RM1,399, and a RM100 rebate is given to those who buy the smartwatch by 21 April. Two colour options are offered: Platinum Black (pictured here) and Mars Brown.
