Death Stranding Director’s Cut for (some) iPhone, Mac, and iPad models finally gets a release date. Set to arrive on 31 January 2024 next week, the game is currently offered on pre-order with a rather generous 40% discount, though it wasn’t mentioned how long the deal will last.

Anyway, this brings down the cost of Death Stranding for Apple’s platforms to only RM99.90 here in Malaysia; quite a good price for a AAA title. On top of that, you can play the game on all three platforms (iOS, macOS, and iPadOS) by just purchasing the game once.

According to the Death Stranding listing on the Apple App Store, the iOS version has a number of features, including high frame rate and photo mode. As for download size, the game requires 13GB of data to start the game, and additional data (approximately 50GB in total) will be downloaded as you progress through the game.

Do note that for iOS, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max with Apple’s A17 Pro chip can run the game. As for the macOS and iPadOS versions, a compatible device with an M1 chip or later is required.
