Aside from the eye-catching Zenbook Duo, Asus Malaysia also launched two new gaming laptops locally: the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) and the Asus TUF Gaming F16 (2024). Both laptops cater to different segments of the market, where the F16 is an affordable machine, while the Zephyrus G16 is a more premium offering.

This is reflected in their local price tags. The TUF Gaming F16 retails from RM5,999 for the RTX 4050 model – going up to RM6,299 for the RTX 4060 version – while the ROG Zephyrus G16 starts at RM9,999 for the RTX 4060 + Core Ultra 7 155H configuration, going up to RM14,999 for the RTX 4080 + Core Ultra 9 185H combo.

What makes the ROG Zephyrus G16 particularly interesting is its display: all variants of the gaming laptop – except for the base model – feature a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 ROG Nebula OLED display with a blazing fast 240Hz display. It also has 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD; 2TB for the range-topping RTX 4080 model.

As for the TUF Gaming F16, it has more modest hardware. These include an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor paired with 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, a 16-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and Windows 11 Home out of the box.

The Asus TUF Gaming F16 (2024) will be available in Malaysia from 24 January 2024, while the RM9,999 base model of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) will arrive here end-January 2024. Other higher-end options of the Zephyrus G16, on the other hand, will be sold here sometime in the middle of February 2024 next month.
