At the end of its Unpacked event where Samsung showed off its latest Galaxy S24 series, the Korean company teased a brand new product: a smart ring. Dubbed Samsung Galaxy Ring, it looks to be a wearable for health and wellness tracking.

Unfortunately, Samsung didn’t reveal much details on the Galaxy Ring. However, the company did mention that the upcoming wearable is a “powerful, accessible health and wellness device that will change the shape of future health like only Samsung can.”

Aside from that, Samsung also talked about “taking the possibilities of Samsung Health to the next level by bringing its cutting-edge innovations to a brand new form factor,” the Galaxy Ring. With that in mind, it’s likely the health app will be closely tied to the smart ring, and it will be interesting to see what health parameters the wearable will be able to track.

No word yet on exactly when we can expect more news on the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Hopefully, Samsung will share more details on its first smart ring sooner rather than later; it’s certainly shaping up to be a rather exciting product, especially from a large brand like Samsung.
