Oppo Malaysia has just launched its latest mid-range smartphones on our shores. At a glance, the Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro look quite similar to each other with the same design language, though both phones do have some notable differences under the hood.
Let’s start with pricing. Here in Malaysia, the standard Reno 11 is offered in the sole 12GB + 256GB model for RM1,899. The higher-end Reno 11 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at RM2,499. It also comes with 12GB RAM as the regular model, though it has larger 512GB storage.
Besides that, the Reno 11 Pro has a faster MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip as well, while the Reno 11 features a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. Both phones have a 32MP selfie camera with a similar rear camera setup too (50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 32MP telephoto), though the lens arrangement is different.
In the display department, the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro are equipped with a 6.7-inch 2412 x 1080 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Curiously enough, when it comes to battery capacity, the Pro model has a smaller 4,600mAh battery compared to the standard Reno 11’s 5,000mAh cell. That being said, the Pro phone can do 80W fast charging, while the non-Pro model tops out at 67W.
The Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro are now available for purchase in Malaysia. Those who buy the Reno 11 or Reno 11 Pro by 25 January 2024 will receive freebies worth up to RM427 and RM476 respectively. These include either an Oppo Enco Buds 2 (for the Reno 11) or Oppo 80W car charger (for the Reno 11 Pro), as well as a one-year extended warranty.
