Acer just unveiled a slew of new products for CES 2024, including the refreshed Acer Swift X 14. As usual, the new laptop features the latest Intel Core Ultra chips and optional discrete graphics card that maxes out at an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 – quite a powerful combo for a productivity-focused machine.
Another new addition to the Swift X 14 is its 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Calman Verified certification; the latter ensures good colour accuracy with Delta E<2 value out of the box. Aside from that, it also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space with a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Other specifications of the refreshed Swift X 14 include up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of fast PCIe Gen 4 SSD, a pair of USB-C ports, two USB-A connections, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card slot, along with support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth LE Audio.
The new Acer Swift X 14 is expected to be available in selected markets from February 2024 onwards with a $1,400 (about RM6,510) starting price in North America. No word yet on the Malaysian availability of the laptop, though we reckon Acer Malaysia will bring it in, given that the previous Swift X 14 is available here.
