Apple Adds Sound Meditation Theme to Fitness+ & Workout Programme for Golfers
January 5, 2024 Andrew Cheng

Apple is adding more content to its Fitness+ service. These include a new Sound meditation theme – which will complement the existing 10 meditation themes – along with a workout programme for golfers featuring and designed with professional golfer Rose Zhang.

The new Sound meditation theme in Apple Fitness+, as its name suggests, uses a “variety of soothing tones and rhythms to create a sense of ease,” as Apple puts it. Sound meditation itself is also a popular meditative experience, so it’s great to see it being added to Fitness+.

Once the Sound meditation theme is live on Fitness+, seven meditations will be available in five-, 10-, and 20-minute increments. New meditations will also be added every week.

And then there is the new workout programme tailored to golfers. It’s made up of four workouts across Strength, Core, and Yoga. As mentioned, these workouts feature professional golfer Rose Zhang, and it will also be led by Fitness+ Strength and Core trainer Kyle Ardill.

Beyond these new content, Fitness+ will get a new Artist Spotlight too leading up to the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show featuring Usher. Usher himself will be featured alongside past halftime performers, including Rihanna, Britney Spears, and U2.

These new Apple Fitness+ content will be available from 8 January 2024 next week. The service is available for RM19.90 per month or RM119.90 per year – or with an Apple One subscription – and it can be shared with up to five other family members.
