At the Malaysian launch of the all-new Honda CR-V, Honda Malaysia revealed that it has received over 2,000 bookings for the C-segment SUV. This figure was achieved in merely a month when bookings for the CR-V were opened on 15 November.
Evidently, the CR-V looks to be well-received in the Malaysian market, and Honda Malaysia’s monthly sales target certainly reflects this. According to the Japanese carmaker, it expects to sell 1,000 units of the SUV locally every month.

To recap, the base S model of the CR-V is priced at RM159,900, while the mid-tier E variant goes for RM169,900. As for the V trim, which is the range-topping petrol model, it retails at RM181,900. Pricing of the highest-end e:HEV RS hybrid model has not been revealed yet, as it’s only slated to be launched here in early 2024.
Interestingly, to celebrate Honda’s 75th anniversary – which also coincides with 20 years of the CR-V’s local assembly in Malaysia – the S variant will be offered at RM157,900 for the first 750 units.
If you want to place a booking or test drive the new Honda CR-V, you can do so online here. Alternatively, bookings can be done through the HondaTouch app as well, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
