Genshin Impact 4.3 Arrives 20 December With Navia, Chevreuse – Genshin Concert 22 December
December 11, 2023 Andrew Cheng

The Version 4.3 update of Genshin Impact is coming next week on 20 December. The new update will add two new playable characters – Navia and Chevreuse – as well as the Fontinalia Festival in-game event with a rather intriguing storyline, as detailed in the trailer below.

Navia, as expected, is a 5-star Geo character equipped with a “gunbrella,” though she also wields a claymore. As for Chevreuse, she is a 4-star Pyro polearm user. Navia’s event wish will be featured first alongside Kamisato Ayaka’s rerun once the Version 4.3 update is live, while Chevreuse will be included in Raiden Shogun’s and Yoimiya’s rerun banners at a later date.

As mentioned, Version 4.3 of Genshin Impact will see the celebration of the Fontinalia Festival, which will be a film festival. The storyline looks to revolve around Furina, the Kamisato siblings, as well as the Traveler working on a film. The in-game events will focus on the festival too, and completing certain objectives will reward players with the 4-star claymore “Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword.”

Beyond that, the annual Genshin Concert 2023 will also take place online just two days after the Version 4.3 update is released. Set to take place on 22 December, the Melodies of an Endless Journey concert will run for approximately 60 minutes with over 25 pieces from Genshin Impact’s five (released) nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, as well as the most recent one, Fontaine.

To recap, Genshin Impact 4.3 will arrive next week on 20 December. Navia’s and Kamisato Ayaka’s banners will go live first once the update drops, followed by Raiden Shogun’s and Yoimiya’s event wishes (alongside Chevreuse) at a later date.
