Now that the Proton S70 has been launched, the national carmaker revealed that it has received over 1,200 bookings for the sedan. Of those numbers, 80% of them were orders for the Premium and Flagship variants of the S70.

What about the range-topping Flagship X? According to Proton, the highest-end model with a sunroof makes up about 20% of bookings received. Based on these figures, it’s evident that demands for the Executive model – despite being the most affordable variant – are comparatively lower.

If you were one of the 1,200 folks who placed a booking for the S70, you may be able to take delivery of the sedan very soon. Proton says that units are ready to be delivered, and the carmaker expects to sell about 2,000 to 3,000 units of the S70 every month.

To recap, the Proton S70 retails from RM73,800 for the Executive model, going up to RM79,800 for the Premium trim. The Flagship and Flagship X variants, on the other hand, are priced at RM89,800 and RM94,800 respectively.
